Birthplace? Toronto

What's the best thing about living in Vancouver? No winter to speak of. Plus, it's an easy city to blend into, when you're on the lam.

Other than Vancouver, where else would you love to live someday? I bounce back and forth on this one quite a bit. My parents are from England and Croatia - so both those countries appeal to me. Or Whoville.

When you have friends visit Vancouver from elsewhere for the first time, what's the one thing you insist they see/do? I always insist we go hiking. I'm from Toronto originally, so the concept of "hiking" is quite foreign to my Eastern friends. They always seem a little surprised when a treadmill is not involved.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be, and why? This was a hard one for me, I thought I'd like to fly, and then I thought I'd like to be psychic, and then I thought I would like to be invisible...but at the end of the day what I really want is the ability to eat as much cake as I want and never gain weight.

One song that's the anthem to your life? Chopin: Cello Sonata in G minor.

Famous person (living or dead) you'd most like to spend time getting to know? Albert Einstein. I would love to be able to sit down and discuss many theorems and philosophies with him. Okay, who's kidding whom? Johnny Depp - for very obvious reasons.

What's your #1 pet peeve? Rude people. Sometimes, they make me so angry that I just want to punch them in the face.

What's the #1 fashion faux pas today? The muffin top. It's when people (skinny or big) wear pants that are way too tight for them and have a little roll of skin sticking over their pants.

Whom do you admire the most? You.

Celebs who share my birthday? George Clooney, Tom Bergeron of "Dancing with the Stars", British PM Tony Blair, Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Bob Seger and baseball legend Willie Mayes - all of whom are MUCH older than I am :)

Why did I get into radio? I was born a radio geek. When I was a kid, my buddies and I would hop on our bikes and ride over to the nearest Zellers to pick up our copies of the CKOC All-Hit 40 Countdown charts. I'd listen to this show every Wednesday night, keep track of the songs, then go pick up the printed copy. And when the "Big 500 Countdown" rolled around on Labour Day weekends - forget about it. Everywhere we went, CKOC came with us. Years later, when I met CKOC's program director, Nevin Grant, I told him about my weekly bike rides. He laughed and dipped into an old filing cabinet in his office and pulled out some of these same charts I used to pick up at Zellers and I started screaming like I was a 13-year-old girl at a Justin Timberlake concert. I really had no choice but to pursue radio as a career - it's the only place where this kind of behavior would be acceptable.

Favorite music? Pop music, which probably explains why I was once told that I didn't have enough "angst" to work at a new rock station.

Favorite concert? Billy Joel and Elton John - March '95 at Toronto's SkyDome.

Favorite TV show? Even though they're both having "off" seasons, "24" and "Lost" are still my faves.

Favorite movie? "Superman: The Movie", "Jaws", "A Fish Called Wanda", "Gladiator" and anything with Will Ferrell are impossible for me to turn away from.

Favorite spot in Vancouver...The Seawall. Always has been, always will be.

Little known fact about me? I was nearly kidnapped in Instanbul.

If I wasn't in radio, I would be...doing something else that likely wouldn't require me to get up at 3:30am :)

Most prized possessions? My family cottage.

Guilty pleasure? Weight-loss reality shows. There's nothing like sitting down in front of the TV with a bag chips and watching "The Biggest Loser".

Having a pet has taught me? That you should always carry a poo bag with you.

Quote on my tombstone? WHY'D HE HAVE TO DIE!!?!?!?!?!!?
