The GREAT BIG Garbage Challenge!

During Earth Day (week), Nat and Drew competed in "THE GREAT BIG GARBAGE CHALLENGE - TO THE DEATH"!


Whoever produced the least amount of personal garbage/recycling during the week would be declared the GREAT BIG winner!!!


Nat won; Drew lost. His punishment: job shadowing at the NORTH SHORE TRANSFER STATION!

****Some stats on the day:


Drew "volunteered", working the front loader, greeting customers, working the garbage compacter,  and working with "hawk guy". He also got down and dirty in the paint & pesticides area.


*FYI: The NSTS sends about 900 tons of garbage to the landfill site EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!
