TGIF!

It's Friday and I'm already anticipating the smell of the BBQ filling my neighbourhood this weekend.

Iron Man opens in theaters today.  Check out our interview with Jeff Bridges who plays Iron Man's arch-nemesis in the movie in the Nat & Drew On Demand section.  I saw it on Wednesday and it is KICK ASS.  Even my fiance (who's no fan of the comic book movies) turned to me when it was over and said she'd see it again.  Why?  Three words: Robert. Downey. Junior.

Speaking of Iron Man, Saturday is Free Comic Book Day - every comic store in the Lower Mainland is participating in this.  If you've got young kids, this would be a great way to spend an hour or so tomorrow.  They'll be giving away free Iron Man comics, free Superman comics, Archie comics, The Transformers, The Simpsons, Spider-Man and many more.  To get your free comics, click here to find a store near you.

Sunday's weather looks great.  Good news for runners in the Vancouver Marathon who won't have to trudge through the rain like they did last year.   

Also Sunday, the annual Bell Walk for Kids Help Phone will take place in more the 50 different cities.  Last year they raised $3 million for Kids Help Phone.
