Saving The World One Wrapper At A Time!

Drew and I are in the midst of our Great Big Garbage Challenge - to the Death......where the loser will get thrown into the pit of despair!  Okay, maybe not.  After a week of keeping track of every piece of garbage and recylcing that we create the person who creates the most waste will be publicly shamed and punished.  The exact punishment hasn't been finalized but most likely the loser will be spending some time at the dump. 

For me, this week has been a big eye opener - it's amazing how much I waste: paper towels for cleaning, small bottles of juice, food packaging....shame on me. Regardless of whether I beat Drew in the challenge, I've come to realize that I'm not doing everything I can to lessen my carbon footprint and I need to change that.  There's a new documentary out that I'm going to use for inspiration, it's called Garbage!
