Also...to cap off "Inspirational News Week", we talked with Katy Harandi, the founder of the Phoenix Academy of Learning Society - PALS is the only school dedicated to helping autistic kids in the lower mainland.  Parents of autistic kids bear such a huge financial burden, it's great to have a place where kids can go for very specialized care and education and for it not to cost them a fortune.  Nat & I are hosting their first-ever fundraiser Saturday night at the Roundhouse in Yaletown.  The goal is to raise $100,000 so PALS can buy some more of the items on their wish list.  The event is sold out, but if you'd like to learn how to help PALS reach their financial goals, click on the link for more info.
