Lisa's Disorganization Disaster

Well if I am not in the top 10, then I will eat my hat! My garage is a disaster as I continue to fill it up with more and more ‘stuff'. Since last fall, my husband and I have been adding more and more to the already messy garage. It isn't the largest space to begin with but a dear friend of mine (like a mother to me) needed a place to store her extra things because her place is far too small. I obliged because we have a nice large home with room (I use that term loosely) in the garage. We already store our ‘work' things in there, which take up a lot of room so it wasn't that big of a deal.

Then my 72 year old father fell ill in December, fracturing his skull and needing brain surgery over the holidays. I needed to move him out of his apartment because even after recovery, he wouldn't/won't be able to live on his own again. He will be moving in with us after her goes through physiotherapy and speech therapy so I have added an entire apartment worth of stuff to my already full garage and I haven't either the time or energy to even look at it! I have 2 children and own a business that I have to tend to plus I visit my father in the hospital 2-3 times a day which consumes much of my waking hours.

I am exhausted each and every single day and the thought of tackling something as huge as my disastrous garage haunts me in my sleep. This is something I will inevitably have to take on but this daunting task could be so much less challenging if I had the assistance of a professional. As you can see...this area of my home is in dire need of ‘organization'. While this is the biggest mess of the home...I also have a couple closets full to the brim and a spare room with a sign that says "KEEP OUT". Please help me! I am desperate!
