History: I came into the Vancouver SPCA on Feb 11, 2008 from the Kamloops Branch. Sadie came to the Kamloops shelter with Jackpot after their owner's surrendered them to a Humane Officer. She lost her leg to a cancerous tumor but gets around quite well.
Personality: I am a really sweet and friendly girl. I am mildly fearful, usually showing potential fear in submissive behavior. I am particularly uncertain of strangers, so I need to be introduced slowly to new people and children. Being an older dog and because of my mild fear, I need a quieter environment and gentle handling. I am a gentle dog who enjoys walks on leash and sitting quietly being petted by people.
Ideal Home: I am looking for a home that will love me and see past my disablity.
