Singer Louise Nurding sampled her first thrilling taste of fame -- a rather large bite of it, in fact -- working as a member of the popular British soul group Eternal. As part of the group she had a number of hit singles like "Save Our Love" and "Stay." There was also a platinum album, Always And Forever, by the talented foursome. Even with all of the success, Nurding left the safety of the group to try to make it on her own. Her solo debut single, "Light of My Life," was released near the end of 1995.

Louise Elizabeth Nurding was born in Lewisham, England, in 1974. Nurding started dancing lessons when she was very young. Later her skills at dancing and singing won her a chance to attend the Italia Conti stage school on a coveted scholarship. All of the hard training and endless lessons paid off big for Nurding when she joined Vernie Bennett, her sister Easther Bennett, and friend Kelle Bryan to from the group Eternal.
