K Hand - The Art of Music

The Art Of Music is a return of sorts for K Hand, back to her minimalist Detroit roots after the jazz excursions on Soul, though occasional flourishes do much to unite the styles. Hand's third album in just over a year sees debts to electro and techno blossom into a fully formed style, reminiscent of the explorations of mood techno with Juan Atkins' Model 500 material, especially on tracks like "Census" and "Eternal." ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
